I am a 21 year old student currently in my fourth year of higher education at Old Dominion University. I plan on graduating in in the Spring of 2018 with a Bachelors Degree in English Studies focused on Journalism, with a Minor in Communication Studies. With that degree, I hope to achieve my goal of obtaining a career as a travel journalist.

In order for me to achieve that goal, I have taken various courses that're relevant to that career field. As of right now I am participating in a College Internship Program at Walt Disney World, working as a Disney Cast Member (which you are able to read about here). On top of working for the Walt Disney Company and trying to maintain a social life, I'm also taking online classes with enough credits to maintain my status as a full-time student. Currently I am taking two Internship course credits for my major and minor, along with Persuasion and Aspects of English Language.

 

Taking these classes will assist me by expanding my knowledge on my communication skills, and by balancing working long hours and participating in full time classes, it will add more experience to my ability to multitask.

Along with taking relevant coursework, since I have dreams of becoming a travel journalist, you could say that I like adventure. Last summer I was fortunate enough to fly out to Hawaii, this year I am in Florida, and within the next year or two I plan on traveling to Europe.
